- NovaMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVA) has acquired a 65% interest in Physicians Surgical Center located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Physicians Surgical Center has three operating rooms and one procedure room and currently performs orthopedic, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, gastroenterology, urology and general surgery procedures. In the last 12 months approximately 9,000 procedures were performed at this surgery center generating approximately $8 million in net revenue.
- Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the iLogic software and related technology from Canada-based Logimetrix, Inc. iLogic is Logimetrix’s desktop rules-based design automation technology. Terms were not disclosed.
