- Terra Industries Inc. (NYSE: TRA) today announced that its Board of Directors, in consultation with its independent financial and legal advisors, has unanimously determined that the proposal submitted by CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CF) on March 10, 2010 to acquire all of the outstanding common stock of Terra for $37.15 in cash and 0.0953 of a share of CF Industries common stock for each Terra share constitutes a Superior Proposal under the terms of the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of February 12, 2010, by and among Terra, Yara International ASA and Yukon Merger Sub, Inc.
