On April 22, NYSE Euronext and Yale School of Management Chief Executive Leadership Institute hosted a day-long Green Summit, commemorating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

In celebration, a cross-section of eco experts participating in the conference joined Sesame Workshop’s Elmo for the Opening Bell. On Experience Square, a Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) interactive climate wall illustrated the effects of climate change around the world, and the latest hybrid electric vehicles from Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) and United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS) were showcased. Rounding out the program, Global Green, rang the Closing Bell along with Anthony Mackie from the Academy Award winning Best Picture, The Hurt Locker.
