After-Hours Movers 12/30: BlackRock (BLK) Higher; Brookdale (BKD), Actions Semi (ACTS), VeriFone (PAY) Lower

    Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) 3.5% LOWER; announced today that its Board of Directors has voted to suspend the Company’s quarterly cash dividend indefinitely.

    BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) 3.2% HIGHER; will act as a manager under the Federal Reserves program to purchase $500 billion in mortgage-backed securities. The program is expected to begin in early January, slightly later than previously expected.

    Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACTS) 2.9% LOWER; cuts its Q4 sales guidance from $18-$22 million to $15-$16 million, versus the consensus of $20.15 million. Also, Q4 earnings per ADS are expected to be about breakeven.
